Recently, F5 stopped working. It no longer refreshed websites. More importantly, CTRL-F5 does not work. I re-installed FF and got it working but it recently stopped working, again. I use CTRL-F5 all the time to see style changes on websites and I really need this to work. I've scoured online threads, including 831402 that is archived.

Are you saying that Shift-F5 does not do an ignore-cache-refresh on Internet Explorer (or Edge for that matter)? This is in-line with the original question which was never answered. What does Shift-F5 do as opposed to Ctrl-F5?
